Uderception: embodied perception and ventral language
Uderception refers to an attention directed towards the body’s inner sensations before they take on a stable form, meaning or interpretation.
What is uderception?
It considers the body as a sensitive field crossed by variations, tensions, rhythms and movements that are still indeterminate. This early attention to feeling opens a perceptual space that exists before words and representations.
From inner sensation to artistic form
Uderception does not seek to translate a sensation immediately. It makes that sensation available so that it can become colour, sound, rhythm, gesture or structure. It is therefore the condition from which ventral language emerges and the starting point of uderochromatism.
Perceptual research and experimental creation
Uderceptive research takes the form of perceptual protocols, musical experiments, texts and explorations devoted to inner musicality and the body’s sensitive dynamics.
