What is an evolving instrumental work?
An evolving instrumental work is not conceived as a permanently completed object. It can transform through use, experimentation, successive versions and the artistic situations in which it is activated.
The instrument as an artwork
Each instrument has its own sonic, visual and gestural identity. It does not merely serve to produce a composition: its interface, behaviours, constraints and possibilities are integral parts of the artwork.
Perception, interaction and transformation
These works connect embodied perception, gesture, colour, rhythm, sound material and digital interaction. They can support improvisations, intimate performances, research protocols or individual experiences.
Open forms emerging from artistic research
